Philippians 4:8-9

Hebrews 11:1-3

1 Peter 4:1-6

Inasmuch as CHRIST has suffered for us physically, arm yourselves with the same attitude, for whoever has suffered in the flesh is done with sin and no longer living a life controlled by human desires, but rather living to do the will of GOD. For the time has past for doing what pagans do: sensuality, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing, and abominable idolatry. Now they think it odd that you won't run with them into the same flood of corruption, so they malign you. But they will have to give an account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. And that is why the gospel was preached even to the dead, so that though judged like men in the flesh, they might live according to the will of GOD in the spirit.

Philippians 4:4-5

Rejoice in the LORD always. I say it again: rejoice!

Have a reputation for gentleness.

Psalm 33:20-22

Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, because we are trusting in his holy name. O LORD, let your everlasting lovingkindness surround us, for our hope is in you.

1 John 5:16-17

If anyone sees a brother committing a sin which does not lead to death, he should pray, and GOD will give life to the one committing a sin which does not lead to death. There is a sin which does lead to death. I'm not suggesting that you should pray for that. All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death.

John 5:28-30

Do not be amazed that the dead will hear the voice of the SON of GOD, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will not only hear his voice, but also come out! Those who have done good will rise to eternal life, but those who have done evil will rise to face condemnation. Of myself I can do nothing: as I hear, I judge. And my judgment is righteous, because I seek not my own will, but the will of my FATHER who sent me.

2 Peter 2:19b

We are brought into servitude by whatever/whomever masters us.

1 John 2:9-11

Anyone who claims to be in the light and hates his brother, is still in darkness. For it is the one who loves his brother who is in the light, and without reason to stumble. Listen, dearly beloved: has not GOD chosen those who are poor by earthly standards, to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him? But you have dishonored the "poor." Is it not the "rich" who exploit you and drag you into court? Are they not the ones who slander the noble name of him to whom you belong?

Colossians 1:3-6

We continually give thanks to GOD, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in CHRIST JESUS, and the love you have for all of GOD's people. You do this because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, the same hope you first heard about when the truth, the gospel, was brought to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, as it has been in you since the day you first heard it and began to understand the truth of GOD's grace.

Matthew 6:31-34

And JESUS said, "Do not worry about having enough to eat or to drink or to wear, for those are things that pagans worry about. Your heavenly FATHER already knows that you need them all. But rather, make the kingdom of GOD and his righteousness your highest priority; and all of your other needs will be met as well. So, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have it's own worries. Each day's own trouble is sufficient."

Mark 1:29-34

As soon as JESUS and his disciples left the synagogue, they went over to Simon and Andrew's home, accompanied by James and John. Simon's mother-in-law was sick with a fever, and they told JESUS about her right away. So he went to her bedside, took her hand, and helped her up. Immediately the fever left her, and she began to see to their needs. That evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick, and those who were possessed by demons. The whole city gathered at the door to watch JESUS heal many who had suffered from various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but since the demons knew who he was, he did not permit them to speak.

Hebrews 10:35-39

Do not throw away your confidence in the LORD, for it will be richly rewarded. Patiently endure, so that having done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. "In a very little while, he who is coming will come, and will not delay. The righteous will live by faith, but I will not be pleased if he shrinks back." For we are not of those who retreat to destruction, but of those who believe and are saved.

Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to learning what the apostles were teaching, to fellowship, to having meals together, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe as many miracles and signs were performed through the apostles. All the believers were together and shared everything in common; even selling their property and possessions to share the proceeds with those in need. Day after day they met in the temple to worship, and had meals together in their homes with gladness and singleness of heart. All the while they praised GOD and enjoyed the favor of all the people. And day by day the LORD added to their assembly those who were being saved.

Ephesians 2:11-13

Remember that you Gentiles, separate by birth, were formerly called "uncircumcised" by those who called themselves "circumcised" because of something done by human hands. And remember that at the same time you were separate from CHRIST, excluded from citizenship in Israel, strangers with no share in the promises, and in this world with no hope and without GOD. But now, in CHRIST JESUS, you who once were so far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

1 Peter 2:13-15

Submit yourselves, for the LORD, to every man-made authority: whether to a head of state, or to other officials who have the authority to punish those who do wrong and to honor those who do well. For it is the will of GOD that by doing good you
should silence the ignorance of the foolish.

1 Timothy 6:3-5

Withdraw from anyone who teaches a different doctrine or doesn't agree with the sound teaching of our LORD JESUS CHRIST (which is the foundation of godliness), for they are conceited and understand nothing. They are obsessed with controversies and disputes over words, and it all leads to envy, quarreling, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among people with warped minds, who do not tell the truth, and imagine that godliness is a way to get rich.

Philippians 3:17-21

Dearly beloved, pattern your lives after mine, and observe those who follow our example. For I have told you often before, and now say again with tears in my eyes, that there are many who live as enemies of the cross of CHRIST. Their destiny is destruction; their god is their appetite; their glory is in their shame; their minds are set on earthly things.

But we are citizens of heaven!

And we eagerly await for our SAVIOR to return from there: the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who, by using the mighty power that enables him to subdue all things, will transform our humble body to be like his glorious body.

1 John 5:13-15

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the SON of GOD, that you may know that you have eternal life. And we can also be confident in this: if we ask anything according to his will, he will listen. And knowing that he hears us when we make these requests, we know we will have what we ask of him.

Luke 6:36-38

And JESUS said, "Be merciful, just as your heavenly FATHER is merciful. Do not judge others, and you will not be judged yourself. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and you will receive. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. And whatever measure you use to give - the same measure will be used for what you receive."

John 5:24-26

And JESUS said, "I assure you that he who listens to my message and believes in GOD who sent me has eternal life. He will not be condemned for his sins, for he has crossed over from death to life. I also assure you that a time is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the SON of GOD, and those who listen will live. For just as the FATHER has life in himself, he has granted his SON to also have life in himself."

1 Corinthians 3:10-15

With the grace GOD has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder. Now someone else is building on it, but they must be very careful. For no one can lay a foundation other than the one we already have, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, for the Day will expose it. It will be revealed through fire, and the fire will test the quality of the work. If the work survives the fire, that builder will receive a reward. If the work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss, but they themselves will be saved like someone escaping through flames.

1 John 3:1-3

Consider how much our heavenly FATHER loves us, that we should be called children of GOD! And because of this, the world does not know us, because it does not know him. Dearly beloved, we are children of GOD now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed, but we do know that when he returns, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And everyone who has this hope in their heart will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.

Lamentations 3:21-26

This I remember in my heart, and therefore have hope: that because of the LORD's never-ending lovingkindnesses, his mercies never fail. They are afresh and new every morning. Great is your faithfulness! The LORD is my portion, says my soul; therefore my hope is in him. For the LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the soul that seeks him. So it is good that one should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

2 Corinthians 4:7-12

We hold this priceless treasure in our earthen vessels to show that the glorious power within us is from GOD - it is not our own. We are pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; knocked down, but not out. We are carrying in our body the death of JESUS, so that the life of JESUS may also be revealed in us. For we who are living are always being exposed to death because of JESUS, so that the life of JESUS may be revealed in our mortal bodies. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
