1 Peter 4:10-11

Each one of us should use spiritual gifts from GOD to serve others, being good stewards of his grace. If your gift is to speak, do it as though GOD himself were speaking through you. If your gift is to serve others, do it with all the strength GOD has given you, so that in all things GOD will be glorified through JESUS CHRIST, to whom belongs all the glory and all the the power forever and ever. Amen.

James 4:7-10

Be humble and submit to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to GOD and he will draw near to you. Wash your hands of sin, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament. Mourn. Weep. Turn your laughter to mourning and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves before the LORD and he will lift you up.

2 Timothy 3:1-9

Mark my word: there will be terrible times in the last days. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and to them nothing will be sacred. They will be without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, cruel, and have no interest in what is good. They will be traitors, reckless, conceited, and love pleasure more than GOD. They will pretend to be godly, but deny its power. You must have nothing to do with them. Among them are those who worm their way into homes to win the confidence of gullible women loaded down with sin and led astray by various evil desires. They chase after the latest religious fad, and never understand the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth. Their minds are depraved, and their faith is counterfeit. But they will not get away with this for long, for their foolishness will become clear to everyone.

1 John 5:18-19

We know that everyone who has been born of GOD does not keep on sinning, because the ONE who was born of GOD keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot touch him. And we know that we ourselves are of GOD, while the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

Hebrews 11:6

Without faith it is impossible to please GOD, because anyone who would draw near to him must believe that he exists, and that he rewards those who diligently seek him.

James 1:19-21

Dearly Beloved, be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry; for the anger of man is not in harmony with the righteousness of God. So get rid of any evil in your life, including all moral filth, and humbly accept the Word that God has sown into your hearts, which is able to save your souls.

1 Peter 4:7-9

The end of all things is near, so be clear headed, and pray. Above all, earnestly love one another, for love covers over a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining.

1 Timothy 5:1-2

Never harshly rebuke an older man. Instead, exhort him as if he were your own father. Similarly, treat young men as your own brothers, older women as your own mother, and young women as your own sister, in absolute purity.

Philippians 2:14-18

In everything you do, refrain from complaining and arguing, so you can prove yourself blameless and innocent, children of GOD above reproach in this warped and perverted generation, shining like bright stars in a dark universe. Hold on to the WORD of LIFE so you can boast when CHRIST returns that I did not labor in vain. Yet, even if I am to be poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am full of joy and rejoice with you. So you too should be full of joy and rejoice with me.

1 John 2:12-14

I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven in JESUS' name. I am writing to you, dear fathers, because you know the ONE who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, dear young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I am writing to you, dear children, because you know the FATHER. I am writing to you, dear fathers, because you know the ONE who is from the beginning. And I am writing to you, dear young men, because you are strong, because the word of GOD lives in your heart, and because you have overcome the evil one.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21

We are ambassadors for CHRIST, as though GOD were making his appeal through us. So then, on behalf of CHRIST, we implore you: Be reconciled to GOD. For GOD made CHRIST, who never sinned, to be our sin offering, so that in him we might become the righteousness of GOD.

James 4:13-17

For anyone who might say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, and conduct business to make money," let me tell you something: you have no idea what tomorrow may bring. I mean, what is your life? You are like a morning fog that appears for a short time and then vanishes into thin air. Instead, what you should be saying is this, "I will live and do, as the LORD wills." What you were doing was boasting in arrogance, and all such boasting is evil. Remember this: it is sin to know the good you ought to do, and then not do it.

2 Peter 2:20-22

When new believers escape the corruption of the world through knowing our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, and then if they become entangled in it again and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. For it would have been better for them to have never known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to reject the holy commandments given to them. For them, these proverbs have come true: "A dog returns to its own vomit," and "After washing, a sow returns to wallowing in the mud."

James 4:11-12

Dear beloved, do not speak evil of one another, for he who speaks evil of a brother is speaking evil of the Law, and he who judges a brother, is judging the Law. When you judge the Law, you are not keeping it, but rather sitting in judgment of it. There is only one Lawgiver, to whom belongs the absolute power of life and death. But you - who are you to judge another?

1 John 5:1

Everyone who believes that JESUS is the CHRIST is born of GOD, and everyone who loves the FATHER also loves the child who is born of him.

Colossians 2:20-23

Since you died with Christ to the elementary principles of this world, why do you continue to subject yourself to worldly prohibitions, such as: "Do not handle," "Do not taste," "Do not touch"? Such rules perish with use since they are based on human commands and doctrine. And while such rules appear to be wise since they impose self-inspired worship, false humility, and physical discipline, they in fact have no value against the indulgence of the flesh.

James 2:8-11

If you really obey the Royal Law found in Scripture that says, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing the right thing. But if you show favoritism, you are committing a sin and are convicted by the Law as a lawbreaker. For whoever keeps the whole Law, except for one point, is still guilty and a lawbreaker. For the same GOD who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." So if you murder someone, you are a lawbreaker, even if you never break any other Law.

Mark 1:35-45

Rising before dawn, JESUS went away to a secluded place to pray. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him they told him, "Everyone is looking for you." JESUS replied, "Let us move on to towns nearby so I can preach there also. That is why I have come." So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons. A leper came to JESUS and fell on his knees pleading, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Filled with compassion, JESUS reached out his hand and touched the man, saying, "I am willing, be clean." Immediately the leprosy left the man and he was cured. At once JESUS sent him away with a strong warning, "See that you say nothing to anyone, but show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." Instead, he went out and began to speak freely about it and to spread the news around. As a result, JESUS could no longer openly enter a town, but stayed out in unpopulated areas. Still the people came to him from eveywhere.

Hebrews 11:7

It was by faith that Noah, having been
warned by GOD about things to come, built an ark in reverent fear to save his family. This action of faith condemned the rest of the world, and he became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

Acts 2:36-41

Then Peter said, "Let the whole nation of Israel know for certain that GOD has made this JESUS, whom you crucified, to be both LORD and CHRIST." Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" And Peter said to them, "Each and every one of you must repent and be baptized in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT. This promise is to you and to your children and to all who are far away: to all whom the LORD our GOD will call." Peter continued preaching, warning them, pleading with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." Those who believed were baptized, and on that day about three thousand disciples were added to their number.

Ephesians 2:14-18

CHRIST himself is our peace, making both Jew and Gentile one, having destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility. With his death he ended the laws that seperated us, creating in himself one new man out of two and thus making peace. Through the cross he reconciled to GOD both groups into one body, and our hostility toward each other was put to death. He preached peace to those of you who were far away, and he preached peace to those of us who were near. Through him now all of us can come to the FATHER through the same SPIRIT.

1 Peter 3:7

Husbands, treat your wives with understanding and honor, for though they may be in a weaker vessel, they are equal heirs of the grace of eternal life. Then nothing will stand in the way of your prayers.

Psalm 2

Why have the nations assembled in an uproar and its people plotted in vain? The kings of the earth prepare for battle and the rulers plot against the LORD and his ANOINTED ONE, saying, "Let us break away and free ourselves." He who sits on the heavenly throne laughs; the LORD scoffs at them. Then he speaks to them in his anger, and terrifies them in his wrath, saying, "I have anointed my KING on Zion, my holy hill." The KING tells of the LORD's decree, "He said to me, 'You are my SON, and today I have brought you forth. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule over them with a rod of iron and shatter them to pieces like earthenware.'" Therefore, all you kings, act wisely; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear; rejoice, but tremble. Pay homage to the SON, lest he become angry and you lose the way, for his anger can be quickly kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in him!

Colossians 2:6-7

Just as you have received CHRIST JESUS as LORD, therefore, go on living in him, be rooted in him, growing in him, having your faith strengthened, and overflowing with thanksgiving.

1 Timothy 6:6-10

Though godliness is not to be used for getting rich, there is great gain in godliness when combined with contentment. For we brought nothing into the world, and it is certain we can take nothing out. Let us be content, therefore, to have food and clothes. People who set their hearts on being wealthy expose themselves to temptations, and get caught in a trap of foolish and harmful desires which drown them in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is at the root of all kinds of evil. Some people, craving money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

Luke 6:41-42

Why do you worry about the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye, and fail to consider all the lumber in your own? Or how can you help a brother remove a speck of sawdust from his eye if you can't even see all the lumber in your own? You hypocrite! First take all the lumber out of your own eye so you can see clearly enough to remove your brother's speck.

1 Peter 2:16-17

Live as people who are free, but do not use your liberty as a pretext for doing evil, for you are at all times a servant of GOD. Honor everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear GOD, and show respect for the leader of your country.

2 Timothy 2:23-26

You know that foolish and ignorant arguments can start a fight, so refuse to participate. A servant of the LORD must not be quarrelsome, but rather, be kind to everyone, able to teach, and patient when wronged. When opposed he must use gentle instruction in the hope that GOD will grant them repentance and they will come to know the truth. Then they can come to their senses and escape the devil's snare, no longer held captive to do his will.

1 John 3:4-6

Everyone who sins breaks GOD's law, because sin is lawlessness. But you know that CHRIST appeared to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. And no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.

Lamentations 3:40-41

Let us test and examine the way we are living and return to the LORD. Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to GOD in heaven.

2 Corinthians 4:13-15

Since we have the same spirit of faith as mentioned in Scripture, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe and continue to speak, knowing that he who raised the LORD JESUS will also raise us through JESUS, and present us as we stand together before him. This is all for your benefit, so that abundant grace may, through the thanksgiving of many, overflow to the glory of GOD.
