Mark 4:35-41

When evening came, he said to them, "Let us go over to the other side." Once they had sent the crowd away, they headed out in the boat he was in, while other, smaller boats followed. A violent storm came up; the waves broke over the boat, and it began to take on water. They woke up Jesus, who had been sleeping on a cushion in the stern, and asked him, "Teacher, do you not care if we drown?" He got up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Silence! Be still." The wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you still have no faith?" They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
