Philippians 1:18b-26

I rejoice, and will continue to rejoice, for I know that my deliverance will come through your prayers and the help given me by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. I fully expect and hope that in nothing will I be ashamed, and that I will continue in all boldness as Christ is magnified in me, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. If I live on in this body it will mean fruitful labor. Yet, what I will choose? I do not know. The dilemma I face is having to choose between departing to be with Christ, which is better for me, or to remain, which is better for you. Knowing what I know, I am convinced that I will remain and abide with you, for your progress and joy in faith, and so that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again.
