John 4:46-53
From Judea, Jesus returned to Cana in Galilee, where he had turned water into wine. And there was a certain royal official in nearby Capernaum whose son lay very ill. When the man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee, he went to him, and begged him to come heal his son, for he was about to die. So Jesus said to him, "Unless you all see signs and wonders, you simply will not believe." "Sir," said the man, "please come down before my boy dies." And Jesus said to him, "Go home. Your son lives!" The man took Jesus at his word and departed. On the journey home, his servants met him to report that his son was alive and well. So he inquired of them when it was that he began to get better. They told him, "The fever left him yesterday afternoon at 1 pm." The father realized that this was exactly when Jesus had said, "Your son lives." So he and his whole household believed in Jesus.
