James 2:1-4
Dearly beloved, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, steer clear of prejudice and discrimination. Suppose a man comes into your assembly wearing gold jewelry and expensive clothes, and there also comes in a poor man in shabby apparel. If you pay special attention to the finely dressed man, and offer him the best place to sit, and then turn to the poor man and say, "You can stand over there, or you can sit on the floor," doesn't that show that you are judging by outward appearances and guided by wrong motives?
