1 John 3:21-24

Dearly beloved, if we obey the commands of GOD and do what pleases him, then our conscience will be clear, and we can approach GOD with confidence and receive from him anything we ask. And here is his command: We must believe in the name of his SON, JESUS CHRIST, and love one another, just as he commanded us. Whoever obeys his commands live in him, and he in them. How do we know that he lives in us? We know it from the SPIRIT he gave us.
