2 Timothy 2:3-7

Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, for no one serving as a soldier gets entangled in the affairs of civilian life, because that would displease his commanding officer. In like manner, no one competing is declared a winner unless it can be determined that they competed lawfully. And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor. Consider what I am saying, and the Lord will help you understand these things.
