1 Peter 3:15b-17

Always be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks you to give an account for the hope within you. Be gentle and respectful, keeping your conscience clear, so that if someone speaks evil of your Christ-like behavior - they may be ashamed of their slander. If it is God's will that you should suffer, it is better to suffer for doing good than for doing wrong.
