Ephesians 2:1-3

You were once dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you once lived when you followed the ways of the world, the ways of satan, the same spirit now at work in those who disobey God. We were once one of them, satisfying our sinful nature in both thought and deed. And just like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
