Beloved, never take vengeance into your own hands, but rather, give it to God. For it is written, "VENGEANCE BELONGS TO ME, AND I WILL REPAY," says the Lord.
To the contrary: if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if your enemy is thirsty, give him something to drink. Doing so will be like heaping burning coals on his head.
Do not let evil get the best of you. Instead, overpower evil with good.
