Psalm 28:7; 29:1-2; 30:4-5, 11-12

The LORD is my strength and my shield. In him my heart trusts, and I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly rejoices and I will give thanks to him in song. Give honor to the LORD, O mighty ones, for glory and strength are attributes of the LORD. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bow before the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is only for a moment, but his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. The LORD has turned my wailing into dancing. He has taken away my mourning clothes and clothed me with gladness, so that my heart may sing praises and not be silent. O LORD, my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
