James 1:5-8
If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives liberally to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he that doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man cannot suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, for he is double-minded and unstable in all his ways.

Psalm 25:12-15
When a man fears the LORD, He directs him in the way he should choose. His soul will live in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those that fear Him, that He may cause them to know His covenant. My eyes are continually on the LORD, for He will rescue me.

Mark 12:28-34a
A scribe heard them debating, and perceiving that Jesus had answered them well, questioned him: "Of all the commandments, which one is first?"
Jesus answered him, "The first commandment of all is this: 'Listen, O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is one. You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'
The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There are no greater commandments than these."
"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You have spoken the truth. There is one God, and there is none other but him. And to love him with all my heart, with all my mind, with all my soul, and with all my strength; and to love my neighbor as myself - is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."
And Jesus, realizing how much the man understood, said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God."

Hebrews 4:13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is in the open and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we are accountable.

2 Timothy 2:3-7
Endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, for no one serving as a soldier gets entangled in the affairs of civilian life, because that would displease his commanding officer. In like manner, no one competing is declared a winner unless it can be determined that they competed lawfully. And hardworking farmers should be the first to enjoy the fruit of their labor. Consider what I am saying, and the Lord will help you understand these things.

John 1:45-51
Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have discovered the one Moses and the prophets wrote about: Jesus, the son of Joseph, who is from Nazareth."
Nathanael asked, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?"
And Philip said, "Come and see."
Jesus saw Nathanael approaching and said of him, "Behold, a true Israelite, a man of integrity."
"How do you know that about me?" asked Nathanael.
Jesus answered, "I saw you under the fig tree before Philip found you."
Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel!"
Jesus said to him, "You believe because I said I saw you under the fig tree, but you will see greater things than that. In fact, you will see heaven open and angels of God ascending and descending to the Son of Man."

1 Timothy 2:1-6
I urge you to make requests, say prayers, ask for intercessions, and give thanks, first of all for everyone; then also for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and virtue. This is good and it pleases our Savior God, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth. There is only one God and one mediator between God and man: Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all - a fact that was attested to at the proper time.

Philippians 1:12-18
I want you to know, brothers, that my circumstances have served to advance the gospel. In fact, throughout the whole palace guard and elsewhere it is known that I am in chains for Christ. My imprisonment has even encouraged most of the brothers in the Lord to speak the Word of God boldly and without fear. Sure, some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry; but others out of goodwill and love, knowing that I am here to defend the gospel. The former preach Christ with selfish motives, and without sincerity, intending to stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But in the end, what does it matter? The most important thing is that in every way, whether from false or genuine motives, Christ is preached. So I rejoice, and will continue to rejoice.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5
We know that if the earthly tabernacle in which we live is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not made with human hands. Meanwhile we ache, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are then clothed, we will not be found naked. While we are in our current tabernacle, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed, but clothed, with our heavenly dwelling. Then the mortal will be swallowed up by life. And He who made us for this very purpose has given us the Spirit, guaranteeing what is to come.

Luke 17:11-19
On his way to Jerusalem, Jesus passed between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered a certain village, ten lepers met him, but they stood at a distance as they called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us." Having seen them, he said, "Go show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were healed. One of them, a Samaritan, having seen that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice began to praise God. He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, thanking him. Jesus asked, "Were not all ten healed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to praise God except this foreigner?" Then Jesus said to the man, "Stand up and be on your way. Your faith has made you well."

Ephesians 1:3-6
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Even before the foundation of the world, he chose us in him, to be holy and blameless in his sight. With love, he decided in advance to adopt us into his own family through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, and to the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he accepted us in the One he loves.

James 2:12-13
Whatever you say and whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by a law of liberty. Judgment without mercy will be dealt to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy is joyfully greater than judgment.

1 John 1:1-3
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have observed and our hands have touched - this we proclaim concerning the Word of Life: the Life appeared, and we have seen, and we testify, proclaiming to you the Life, the Eternal Life, which was with the Father, and made known to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
You do not need me to write you concerning dates and times, for you know perfectly well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness. Therefore, that day will not surprise you like a thief.

Colossians 1:21-23
Though you were once alienated from God, and enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior; he has now reconciled you with the physical body of Christ, through death - to present you holy, unblemished, and blameless before him - if you continue in faith, firmly established, settled, and unmoved from the hope of the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have became a servant-minister.

Matthew 6:5-8
When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, because they love to be seen praying in synagogues and on street corners. I tell you the truth: they have their reward. Instead, when you pray, close the door and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything done in private, will openly reward you. And when you pray, do not go on and on in vain as some do, thinking they will be heard because of their many words. You do not have to pray like that, because your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.

Mark 10:13-16
Young children were brought to Jesus so he could bless them, but the disciples criticized those that brought them. When Jesus saw this, he was very displeased, and said to them, "Let the children come to me. Do not forbid them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. You can count on this: whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child - will never enter it." Then he took the children in his arms and blessed them.

Hebrews 13:5-6
Steer clear of the love of money and possessions; be content with what you have. For God has said, "I will never leave you; I will never forsake you." Knowing that, we can truly say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man can do to me."

Romans 12:9-13
Love must be sincere. Hate evil; cling to what is good. Concerning brotherly love: be kindly affectionate. Concerning honor: prefer one another. Be diligent, not slothful. In spirit be enthusiastic, serving the Lord. In hope: rejoice; in tribulation: endure; in prayer: persevere. Tend to the needs of fellow saints. Practice hospitality.

John 1:29-34
The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, "Behold: the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is the one of whom I said, 'A man comes after me, who takes a place before me, because he was before me.' I myself did not know him, but so he would be revealed to Israel, I came baptizing with water." Then John testified, saying, "I have seen the Holy Spirit descend, as a dove from heaven, and it remained on him. Prior to that I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'Upon whom you see the Holy Spirit descend and remain on, is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen, and I testify, that this is the Son of God."

1 Peter 1:17-19
Remember that you call on a Father who impartially judges what each of us does, so live in reverent fear as a temporary resident. For you know you were redeemed from the foolish behavior you learned from previous generations - not with perishable things like gold or silver - but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot or blemish.

2 Timothy 3:14-17
Remain faithful to what you have learned and been entrusted, for you can depend on those who taught you. From childhood you have been educated in the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that you may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Genesis 2:1-3
So the heavens and earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had completed the work of his creation, so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, for on that day he rested from the work of his creation.

Galatians 3:26-29
You are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. You are all one in Christ Jesus and no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and according to the promise: heirs.

Luke 11:5-10
[Note: Jesus is teaching on prayer]
Then he said to them, "Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight to ask, 'Friend, may I borrow some food? A friend of mine on a journey has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing for him to eat.' Suppose the one inside calls out, 'Not now. The door is locked and we're all in bed. I cannot help you right now.' But I tell you that though he may not get up to help out of friendship, he will get up if you keep on asking, and give you all you need. And so I tell you: Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. He who seeks, finds. To him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Exodus 4:10-12
Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither yesterday, nor before, nor since you first spoke to me, your servant, for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." Then the LORD aked him, "Who gave you your mouth? Who has the power to make a man deaf or mute or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go; I will be with your mouth, and I will direct you on what to say."

1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Think about when you were called, brothers. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many had power; and not many were of noble birth. Instead, God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong to shame. He chose things this world sees as lowly and despised and insignificant, to bring to nothing what the world considers important so that no one can boast before him. For it is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who to us became wisdom from God, and also righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Therefore, just as it is written, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

1 Peter 1:13-16
Prepare your minds for action; exercise self-control; hope to the end for the grace which will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. Live as obedient children; avoid the patterns of former desires when you lived in ignorance. Just as he who called you is holy - be holy in all you do, for it is written, "Be holy, because I am holy."

Romans 2:6-11
God will judge each person by what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality with patient endurance. But there will be wrath and anger for those who live for themselves and who are disobedient to the truth, following evil. There will be trouble and distress for every soul that does evil, first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor, and peace for all who do good, first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.

Titus 3:3-8
At one time we too were thoughtless, disobedient, deceived, and served various lusts and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy and hate, even hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us - not because any works of righteousness we had done, but because of his kindness, through the washing of a rebirth, and a renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. You can trust this. I strongly advise you to confidently stress these things, so that those who have believed may lead in doing what is right. This is good and profitable for everyone.
